~ HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PHOTOGRAPHING WEDDINGS?

I shot my first wedding when I was 18, I used my trusty Canon AE-1 35mm camera and it turned out great! It was another 10 years before I went for #2! I started photographing weddings in 2007.

~ HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH IN A YEAR?

I typically photograph between 10-15 weddings a year.

~  HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?

      Each wedding, event and portrait session is different, the exact number of images will vary. However I typically deliver a minimum of 500 images for a wedding and 60 images for a portrait. 

~DO YOU EDIT ALL OF MY IMAGES?

      Yes, each image that will be delivered to you will be processed one at a time by me. Any corrections I make are simple light and or color corrections. 

~HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE UNTIL WE HAVE OUR IMAGES?

      Weddings take about 8 weeks for the complete wedding delivery. Portraits take about 2 weeks.

~WILL YOU TRAVEL FOR OUR WEDDING?

      Frequently!

~ DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?

Absolutely! I love intimate elopements !! Either just the two of you or add a few of your nearest and dearest.

~HOW CAN WE SECURE YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?

      My non refundable retainer is one third of the total package price. The balance due 4 weeks prior to the wedding. 

~ DO YOU ACCEPT SHOT LISTS?

    I do request a family formal shot list for post ceremony pictures that are to take place at the ceremony site. This makes it easier to round up family and get the formal pictures taken care of quickly and painlessly for all involved.

However I do NOT accept creative shot lists.  Although I am happy to discuss any ideas and thoughts prior to the wedding.  I do not work from a list.

A GENERAL TIMELINE

I'm often asked about the order of things once a client has chosen me to photograph their wedding. Here is a simple and general flow of what to expect in the coming months.

~ Once you have confirmed my availability for your event you can then choose the right package for your event or request a custom package

 ~ You will receive an email with a link to your proposal and contract. You may "sign" online

 ~ Depending on your choice of payment for the retainer, you can either mail in a check or pay via credit card

 ~ Once the contract is signed and the retainer is received, you will have officially booked me for your event

 ~ Shortly after booking, you will receive a questionnaire to fill out regarding the details of your wedding, this is also accessible through the Client Lounge

 ~ If your package includes an engagement portrait, this would be scheduled next. You can expect your images from the engagement portrait 2 weeks later via online download. This will include reprint rights as well

 ~ 4 weeks prior to your wedding the balance of your payment is due, you will be reminded via email

~ The week of your wedding, usually Thursday, I will contact you briefly to check in about any last minute changes or details as well as to confirm the timeline for your wedding day

 ~ 2 weeks after the wedding I will post a few favorites on the Blog as well as Facebook. You will be notified via email as soon as they post

 ~ Finished, post processed images, will be posted in an online gallery to view, share and purchase within 4 weeks of the wedding day and will remain up for 9 months

 ~  If your package included an album we will either meet to discuss initial album design or set up a video chat where possible

 ~ A draft design will be delivered via email for approval. One edit is allowed and needs to be image specific in the redo. Edits are made immediately, you will sign off on the final edit and then it's sent out for print.  Any additional fees for upgraded albums are due prior to design submission to album companies

 ~ Most albums are delivered up to 6 weeks later

 ~ High resolution post processed images are delivered with your album via digital download with reprint rights
